The sniper PQ corrections
I choose D because I forgot a simile could have like or as I thought it could have only have like and i knew it wasn't a metaphor or personification. So I believed it was situational Irony because I didn't know that definition of it. I now know the answer is C which is simile because they said "as if his arm had been cut off" the key word as since they used as I know it is a simile.
I choose dramatic Irony for the question about excerpt 3 because I was like this excerpt is pretty dramatic so I thought it would be dramatic irony. But it is stituational Irony because the reader did not expect it to be a familiar face everyone was surprised so it is situational irony.
Most Dangerous game performance quiz
Rainsford has written a book, and Zaroff has read the book is not an example of dramatic Irony, the reason I said dramatic irony was because knew it was not a personification nor was it characterization, so I ruled them out and then I ruled it down to flashback and dramatic irony and between those I had to guess. I know this is flashback because they use past tense words and it cant be any of the others because they do not match the description. So that is why the answer is D.
Condone in this passage does not mean commit. That was a silly mistake I said it because first thing that comes to my head when I think of murder is like who committed it if I would have re read the question several times I think I could have gotten it right. When I was going over this I re read it several times and that was when i realized condone means to accept. I double checked the definition and that is how I know now that condone means to accept.
I can not believe I got number 9 wrong I was rushing through and I circled the the first answer I saw with the word imagery in it. I know the correct answer is the one that has personification and imagery in it. Because it is very descriptive and also compares the night to thick blackness on a yacht which is personification.
I thought B was the answer because it was the only one not compared to a animal I am still a little confused with that. I know this is wrong now because it has simile in it, I now know D is the correct answer because that only has a personification and does not have a simile.

And than there were none
In in than there where none I think from my rough draft to my final copy I improved A lot. Somethings I changed where my punctuation I changed that because I made a lot of common errors so it was a wise Idea go over it several times with several different people. I believe peer editing was the most helpful because when I was done it was easier for both my mom and my sister to check it. I think it would be really helpful if we kept om peer editing I believe it is fun to get to pick your partners but also be assigned them so you get a input on your writing from everyone and different perspectives. Throughout the year I want to continue to work on my punctuation and how I word my writing.
